40/191 £140 LNER cast iron ‘9x5’ Locomotive Works Numberplate “London & North Eastern Railway 6281 1918” as carried by Royal Ordnance Dept. 2-8-0 Loco No. 1910 built by North British Loco Co. (21887 of 1918). Became LNER 6281 Class 04/3 in Feb. 1924, and LNER 3802 in Oct. 1946. It became BR 63802 in May 1949. Withdrawn June 1964 from Frodingham and cut up by T.W. Ward at Beighton. Face restored and polished only. Left bolt hole pulled. 40/293 £180 Full set of LNER official china Cathedral Plates by Wedgwood: Norwich, Peterborough, Lincoln, Durham and York Minster are in v.g.c. Ely has a small chip to the underside edge which does not show on face. A nice opportunity to get the set at one go. They are protected by a very modest reserve. (6)
40/192 £55 BR(E) 3 aspect saucer top Handlamp. Top stamped “BR(E)”. Body embossed “BR(E)” and brass plated “London & North Eastern Railway Tingley”. Complete with “LNE-C” vessel, “BR(E)” burner, reflector and all glasses. Restored. A former GNR station between Leeds & Dewsbury closed in Feb. 1954. 40/308 £75 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “65B” (St. Rollox) with small characters. Unrestored.
40/195 £80 Great Western Railway cast iron Bridge Diamond in superb ex-lineside condition with all tonnage plates. The bottom “12 tons” plate is detached and present but missing its ends but this does not affect the lettering on it. 40/328 £180 LNER oval cast iron ‘9x5’ Locomotive Works Numberplate “London & North Eastern Railway 6584 1918” as carried by ROD 2-8-0 Loco No. 1863 built by North British Loco (21840 of 1918). Became LNER 6584 Class 04 in Mar. 1928 and 3770 in June 1946. BR No. 63770 in Oct. 1949. Withdrawn Dec. 1965 from Colwick. Ex-loco condition.
40/212 £100 Shropshire Union Railway & Canal Company fully titled cast iron Bridge Weight Notice. Face restored only a while ago. Small piece broken from lower left corner (outside the border). 40/331 £80 “GNR 28” oval cast iron Bridge Number Plate with single border. Face rest. only.

40/214 £150 Two LNER cast iron Doorplates “Oil Store” and “Private”. Both v.g.c. and face restored only. 40/337 £1500 Cast aluminium Locomotive Nameplate “Goat Fell” as carried by BR Co-Co 3100HP Diesel Electric Class 60 Loco No. 60052 built by Brush (No. 954 of 1991). Nameplate removed May 1997 and loco renamed “Glofatwr the last deep mine in Wales - Tower Colliery”! Still in Traffic with EWS at Toton. The nameplate is in fine condition with plenty of crud to back. 648x247mm. (25.5x9.7in).
40/218 £60 Two Union Castle Line silver plated Napkin Rings each with matching pierced decoration, company enamelled house flags and brass scrolls with the name of the vessel. One is “RMMV Dunvegan Castle”, the other “RMMV Durban Castle”. Both are in v.g.c. (2). 40/345 £150 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “35A” (New England). Face restored only.
40/226 £180 North British Rly. 3 aspect Bulpitt Patent Handlamp with fogging glass. Body stamped “NBR 5509” and “1476 S Bangour Junction” and has an ornate “Bulpitts Patent” brass plate. Complete with original patent vessel, “LNER” burner, reflector and glasses (the green replaced with plastic film). The original back handle replaced in service. Unrestored. This signal box controlled the short branch to Bangour station which closed in 1921. It stood between Bathgate and Ratho. 40/350 £60 BR(E) flangeless Enamel Sign “Passengers cross the line by the subway only”. Some chips mainly to edges. The main area is in lovely condition with fine deep colour and shine. 920x610mm (36.2x24in).
40/242 £60 Caledonian Railway steel Carving Fork with flip up finger protecting guard and with a fluted silver plated handle bearing the “Caledonian Railway” title on a belted garter around the rampant lion shield. Slight wear to plating but this is a scarce piece of pre-group cutlery in g.c. 40/354 £60 BR(E) 4 aspect Handlamp with a LNER fluted top. The body has a brass plate “BR(E) Ancaster” in LNER shape. Complete with vessel, burner, reflector and all glasses (front lens cracked and small piece broken from orange). Restored. A location between Grantham and Sleaford.
40/273 £150 LNER cast iron Doorplate “Tranships”. v.g.c. and face restored only.        
40/283 £75 BR(S) fully flanged enamel Doorplate “Private”. Chipping along the bottom flange otherwise very good condition with fine colour & shine.        
40/284 £60 Southern Railway later Eastleigh pattern 3 aspect Handlamp. The body stamped “S(E)R” and “Wimbledon CME 8”. Complete with original vessel, “SR” burner, “S(E)R” reflector and all glasses. Very good ex-service condition and most unusual to find a location on one of these lamps.        
40/289 £60 London & North Eastern Railway fully titled ‘Short’ cast iron Footpath Notice with casting code “0.3”. Very good unrestored condition.
