A superb example of this type of instrument. Leicester Junction was just south of Burton on Trent where the Leicester Line diverged from the Derby - Birmingham Main Line. |

Birmingham, Eng.” Service wear mainly to edges otherwise v.g.c. and a very scarce example. Verney Jct. was the Northernmost outpost of the Met. reached via the Met. & GC Joint Line. It closed in Jan 1968 having been opened in Sept. 1868. |

North Eastern Railway Interior Wall Lamp by Messengers of Birmingham. The vessel carries the usual “NER” oval embossed brass plate & has a brass filler cap. The burner is stamped “NER” and the wick adjuster is embossed “Messenger Birm.” Complete with glass chimney and original copper reflector. A fine and early example in very good original condition. |
